Drive time to K24
Two things, both on the field: we teach people to fly, and we look after aeroplanes.

Your first time at the controls, with an instructor beside you. No experience, no licence and no commitment needed — most people book one to find out whether flying is really for them. It counts toward your training if you carry on.

Primary instruction from your first lesson through to your checkride, with the same instructor the whole way. We fly when the weather says we can, which at a field this close means you can take the good days as they come.

An A&P shop on the field for inspections, repairs and avionics work. If your aircraft is based here, it doesn't need to go anywhere to get looked after.
Most people in this part of Kentucky who want to learn to fly end up driving to Louisville, Lexington or Bowling Green. That's three or four hours in the car for a one-hour lesson — and it's why so many people start training and stop.
Flying from K24 doesn't make the aeroplane cheaper. It makes the hour cheaper, because you're not spending the rest of the day getting to it. And when a lesson gets weathered out — which happens — you've lost twenty minutes, not an afternoon.
